The Forensic Psychology Group is a nationwide organization offering forensic psychological services to the legal community. Stephen Reich, Ph.D., J.D., is the founder and the Director of The Group. Dr. Reich is both a licensed psychologist and a licensed attorney, who has had an extensive and diverse career in psychology and the law. He received his B.A., J.D., and M.B.A. from Columbia University, and his M.A. (Psychology) and Ph.D. (Clinical Psychology) from Fordham University.

He was a United States Public Health Fellow at Fordham University, and a Postdoctoral Fellow in Clinical Psychology at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He has been on the faculty of the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and the Attending Staff of the New York Presbyterian Hospital (Payne Whitney Psychiatric Clinic) for more than 35 years, in addition to his private practice as a psychologist and diagnostic evaluator.

He frequently appears on national and local television where he is asked to evaluate the implications of current events. He lectures extensively.

Dr. Reich was, for many years, a psychological consultant for the Consolidated Edison Company. He is the Clinical Director of the Senior Citizens Care Group. He is a legal consultant, practiced law privately, and served as an Assistant Attorney General of the State of New York. He was also a Lieutenant, Judge Advocate General Corps, of the United States Naval Reserve.

Dr. Reich is admitted to legal practice in the State of New York, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Dr. Reich is one of the most experienced psychological expert witnesses in the country. He and his firm have been retained by law firms throughout the United States and internationally. All of the psychologists who are affiliated with The Forensic Psychology Group are highly experienced in forensic evaluations and testimony. The Group offers services in most major cities in the United States, and is available for consultation anywhere. Dr. Reich, or one of his associates, will travel to your region.

He is a member of the American College of Forensic Psychology, the American Psychological Association, the New York State Psychological Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the New York State Bar Association, and the New York Criminal Defense Lawyers’ Association.
